Chinese Imitation?: Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

Ripped off again. There are air holes in the plastic that allow dirt to get into the motor. There are no air holes in the original. Did I miss something or wasted my money? Black and Deck should explain.

Not all Black + Decker handheld vacuums use the same filter. Close, but no cigar.

There are no visible air holes in the plastic in the Revain photo which does not match the photo on the actual VF110 box or on the filter itself. The difference is that the actual VF110 has three air holes in the plastic piece that surrounds the filter. That means the VF110 isn't compatible with the similar-looking Black + Decker cordless handheld vacuums - part numbers HHV1315JO, HHV1320JR and HHV1325JR.

Works really great.

I needed a vacuum that could get the job done while I cleaned the floor. This one works great. When I'm done, I take out the filter and wash it so I can start with a clean one next time. Or I change filters in the middle of work because I have a shedding dog and cat and the machine manages to clean their fur thoroughly. As a result, the filter fills up quickly. I really recommend the vacuum cleaner and I recommend keeping the filter clean while you work.

Sand, dirt, just about anything gets into the motor

This filter is not as well made as the one that came with the original vacuum cleaner. I bought this replacement because it wasn't a fake brand. Well, after using it once, sand and dirt went right through the filter and into the engine. That's not normal. I originally bought a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter for my dryer. I can't stand fluff flying all over the place lol. So if I just use this filter for that, it works great. Small items are crafted through holes that snap into place.

Buy original! Best in Vacuums & Floor Care

Highly recommended! This Black & Decker filter is identical to the filter that came with my vacuum (BLACK+DECKER Dustbuster Cordless Vacuum, 16V (CHV1410L). This bag might cost a dollar or two more than a fake, but I won't buy it As for rinsing these filters, I just brush off heavy dirt and debris, rinse with a kitchen sink sprayer, and leave it at the Air dry it comes out pretty good. Since getting this replacement I have tried tossing my old filter in the washing machine. My wife gave me oneโ€ฆ
