Ideal for the intended use.

Velcro closure for quick and easy donning. The front hook helps keep the gate in place, and the adjustable strap makes it less awkward to put on on the trail.

You are too small.

I am a size 11 and the large size does not fit my winter boot ankles. I returned these leggings and the larger size is out of stock. The build quality is high, but I can't use it.

Love it! Better than regular gaiters

Fits better than regular BD gaiters. although I've only used them in the snow near Mammoth. didn't actually lead them through the granite steps of the Sierra as they scaled the peaks.

Cool leggings! in camping and hiking

The best gaiters I have ever had. They are made from durable materials. They dry quickly. I love the calf straps, they don't slip at all. I wear size 10 boots and the big ones barely fit around the ankle so get the big ones.

Pros
  • camping
Cons
  • not reliable

Never used, too small

Black Diamond is a great brand with good products. Apparently there is nothing wrong with this product in terms of quality. But I ordered a big one and it's too small even for my walking shoes so I had to send it back. They can be very small so be careful.
