Enhance Your Editing Workflow with the Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor Review

Arrived broken :( Returns were easy enough but still disappointing. I have a lot of Black Magic gear and this is the first unit that has been disappointing. I will write to update this check if and when i can get one that works.

can't believe I got my hands on one, it was in reserve everywhere, solid build quality, rad is very accurate, wish it was more compatible in edit mode, but i knew that before i bought it

As usual, Black Magic was a fantastic product. Unfortunately, this version did not come with the regular da Vinci Resolve license. Same price from other vendors. This vendor claims that this device does not come with a full da Vinci Solution Studio license.Very disappointing.

It's built like a rock. The scroll wheel is very smooth and the buttons are well distributed. Speaking of buttons, they're mechanical and feel great. It cuts my editing time in half and allows me to spend more time on the finer points. If you're doing daily quests or anything that has a fast turnaround time, you're going to love this thing.

Good product. But no, it does NOT come with a Davinci Resolve Studio key or activation code or anything, although there are comments above that the key is included. Keyboard only. The key should come with it for $300. Not found anywhere in the box. I'm coming back so I can buy somewhere that has both for $300.

I'd be impressed with this device, especially since it was practically free with the purchase of DaVinci Resolve Studio (rather than the free version which doesn't have the word Studio). I have a Shuttle Pro, but even though it's bigger, it almost replaces the keyboard. Actually, that's how it is, and you only need a mouse, but of course you always need a keyboard. The jog wheel is better and better than the old Shuttle Pro. This wheel seems to be a good weight and should have roller bearings…
