Be careful as they don't output 1080p59/60.

why) that it supports 1080p59.4/60 like most of their stuff. I mean it's a BMD, they always support crazy max framerates when their competitors don't, but this card is still stuck in the past and doesn't support 60fps. I wanted to use it to power my LiveU eSports device but had to remove it as it didn't support 1080p60. I still use it in our smaller kits where we only do 720p60, but I'd rather have one that can do both. Single channel monitoring and output at a great price instead of buying…

Pros
  • . Good product for the price.
Cons
  • . No power.

Doesn't work with Blackmagic software to export HD video from PC

Can't export as expected. Works with software seems to work, but when you actually try to export video from PC to Blackmagic switcher through this Decklink mini monitor, it just never works. The software displays errors and seems to require very specific codecs or details for each type of video in order to be read and exported, but nowhere in the documentation are the details of the video format recognizable for this device and software mentioned. and play it. The Blackmagic Community Forum is…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

The easiest and most useful HDMI output I've ever had. When I first heard about Blackmagic I was blown away. My church uses many Blackmagic solutions and after seeing what they did at the lower cost of some other solutions I was sold. The reliability of Blackmagic products is amazing. Before using this product, I used Matrox products. Now I'm a Mac user, but back when I was new to the video industry I was a Windows user, mostly because I used it for work. I used the Matrox system and everything
