This is a double sided product so you don't get confused which side is out when you sew the straps onto your shoes. It's more comfortable than my daughter's elastic for pointe shoes.

My daughter needed matching bands for SoDanca flats for her solo performance. They fit together perfectly, and the elastic sewn into the band along the Achilles tendon allowed her to wear them comfortably all day.

I put them on my daughter's ballerinas. She tied them to her ankle for the first time before class. At the end of the lesson they dropped out. The stitched thread didn't hold them to the boot and I took care to reinforce them by triple stitching them. That does not work. This band works best when tied into your hair.
