Cut the number of wires at the battery

Bought to reduce the number of wires going to the battery and it works fine. I installed the headlights side-by-side in the front and then installed the headlights side-by-side in the rear. If I decide to install something else, I still have room for it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are problems

Outstanding Quality - Boat Engine Parts

As a very picky person, I have thought long and hard about how to approach my current project and what parts to buy for it. I love it when everything looks and works a certain way and I am very satisfied when I complete a project when it looks and works like it was done by a professional. It may be under the hood, but it's part of the heart of this whole project.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good hardware

Good hardware. Well done, obviously Blue Sea did their homework by creating this simple power panel. Remember you must fuse every positive wire, there is no built in fuse in this panel. I was so impressed with the design that I kept this bar and returned to Revain to purchase a Blue Sea Systems 5025 ST Blade Fuse Block with built in fuses to protect each positive terminal. Both the fused staff and the unfused staff were stellar designs.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Null

Nice and high quality

Got this to convert the backup battery to a long term backup power supply. The backup unit is a 965w cyber power that initially ran for about 15-20 minutes with my seawater tank, heaters and lights plugged in. I've since come across a couple of deep cycle batteries and have extended my time to around 4 hours which is more than enough to hook up a generator in the event of a power outage etc. I bought this to tie everything together so all my batteries have the same charge, draw etc. Works great

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad

Just what I needed for my pontoon

This tire will stop my battery posts from looking like spiders. I have an old pontoon with a battery that sits on a shelf behind the back seat and throughout the season the connections have always come loose causing problems. If you had to fix the connection, that meant disconnecting all 5 wires by wrapping them with tape so one or more wouldn't fall off where they couldn't be reached as the boat was moored in port. Now I have 5 system wires to this bus and only one wire each to the positive…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic

Works great, but there is a downside...

DualBus Plus is well made. Sturdy body, durable lid, durable stainless steel metal. The four threaded studs that attach the battery cables are fitted with nuts. I had to add shims to ensure a secure fit on my cable connectors. The 10 screws were the perfect size for the extra cable connectors. There are two screw holes in the body to allow you to attach this assembly to your boat. You are in the middle of the assembly. The transparent cover is easily detached from the body by pressing two…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
