Not worth the price

I recently bought this as a temporary replacement for my Jensen JTA-230 3 speed stereo player with built in speakers which is in a warehouse across the country . I was intrigued because the Pyle is more expensive (even though it was on sale) and the reviews were decent so I figured it should be better. The sound quality is terrible. If you don't plan on recording much, save yourself the hassle and just buy the Jensen.

  • Not just fit for purpose

Decent value for money turntables and accessories

Based on the rating this is the best value for money found in reliable reviews. It arrived without a small foam pad on the turntable which hopefully isn't a huge issue as returning the item seems like too much of a problem for that. Also, my player isn't balanced, but that doesn't seem to be affecting it at the moment. I'm not sure if the imbalance is specific to this item. There's not much to say about the sound, but I wasn't expecting much either. I play original vinyls from the 60's and 70's

This player gives you the blues

Too bad. I really wanted to love this player. There were just so many problems. Where should I start? At first everything seemed cheap. The pane shook terribly, so much that you could hear warping noises coming from the speakers. Speaking of speakers. I wasn't expecting much but it was really awful. The volume is optimal for a room, so no complaints. My problem stems from the lack of bass from these speakers. Any rock 'n' roll vinyl you listen to sounds flat. I contacted the manufacturer about…

Great budget option

Turntables seem to be one of Revain's most difficult products to find. Even the best of the less expensive ones have a few bad reviews (probably from extremely picky hipsters), but after looking through hundreds of them I finally settled on this one. I'm so glad I did! It perfectly reproduces classic vinyl records with built-in speakers and also has settings for two other types of records. The instructions are super simple and clear. I haven't used an MP3 converter and probably won't, but it…

Don't buy if you plan to play 45s!

I really wanted to love this player but it was such a disappointment. We ordered our player and when it arrived we knew something was wrong. The box looked like it had already been opened! When we opened the box, the power cord was right on top. wrapped in nothing. There were no instructions and no form to contact the customer. It was clear that someone had returned this item and resold it to us. However, we tried, but it didn't work. The turntable didn't even spin! We contacted Revain to…

Good basic turntable

I've had many high quality turntables in my life but just wanted something simple that would allow me to transfer old vinyl records to my Mac Powerbook Pro as mp3 files. I had to experiment a bit, but it worked for me. I would recommend connecting the computer directly via the RCA jacks rather than using the player's internal USB port. In my testing, USB recording was flat and lifeless, while RCA transmission was bright and clear (for LP). As for the sound, just listening to the LP is ok…
