Blum Overlay Frame Pie Corner Cabinets Review

As the title suggests, they are solid like most Blum hinges, but they don't close softly and I easily assumed that the self-closing listed actually does close softly. It's not like this. These villains will slam your door for now.

Unless the face frames are 2.5 inches (usually 3/4 inches) thick, these hinges will not fit the face frames. These hinges are designed for double or corner cabinet doors without a visible frame. However, you can use them, but you will need to install a lock that fits to insert the case into the front frame.

I renovate cabinet doors and drawers. This lazy Susan was by far the smartest. Glad I found these loops. I was able to use the Kreg hinge tool and still get the holes in the right place. They are durable and easy to assemble once installed on the door. They also detach easily if you need to remove one or both doors.

(This was a refurbishment of an existing cabinet) Fully adjustable hinges made the finishing touch easy. The loop doesn't look exactly like the original, but it works the same way. A slight modification of the mounting holes (drilling) was required as the original case had larger set screws.

Quality fittings and fits perfectly in a 2 door Lazy Susan corner cabinet. However, there are no instructions and Blum doesn't make it easy to find the required dimensions for installation. After some Googling I found a comprehensive chart with key parameters that helped me with this. In operation, the hinges are impeccable and we can say that they will outlive the house. Very impressed with the product quality!
