They work. Suitable for accessory

This product is advertised as a product for lighting skateboards (and similar gear) to be placed face down under the board. I decided to use it differently with my Meepo v1.5 board (electric longboard) - I placed the lights on the battery compartment to point diagonally backwards to use as taillights. The lights work as advertised, but I also encountered a few issues. Firstly, there is no good "turn off" solution - to turn off the LED, the whole case is detached. Due to constant vibrations…

Not bad, just a few things I didn't like.

Right out of the box, one of the displays was chipped off the edge (maybe just Amazon? The box is a bit tattered too) and didn't seem to turn on until I screwed the lid on properly. I was expecting there to be a switch or something, but the way you turn it on by screwing the battery to the light looks kinda weird. One bulb turns on easily and loosely, the other two are average, and the torn one needs to be tightened really hard for it to work. The lighting is quite good, a bit dim, but I think…

Cheap, broke on first use, wish I could get my money back or get a free replacement

Unfortunately I didn't have much experience with this product and it was a waste of $20. I sat with them the first day when they all broke. Basically, with the turn-top style, you twist them harder to turn on the light. The fact is that in order for them to be fully assembled on the board, but not lit, they must be screwed very lightly, almost entirely. I did my best and tried but after a few minutes I noticed the vibration was loosening the tips and all 4 eventually fell off or broke as they…

I'm glad these products exist but they could be a lot better

I bought them twice: once on my old board and I screwed up without checking if they were waterproof. I drove into a puddle and the light stopped working - all on me. Now I got a new board and decided to try these again. Of course, I wouldn't dare call another puddle, but that's how these works seem ill-conceived. To turn it on, you need to "screw" the LED lamp to the battery, and it will turn on. To turn it off, "turn it the other way" and dim the entire light if you physically disconnect the…
