Benefits: I close my eyes and imagine I'm talking about the soul in the house in the English countryside in Spring when all the roses in the garden have faded and been in bottled to perfection, the English Rose shower gel from The Body Shop. Cons: Rather a new product and can't get too much bang for your buck when it comes to the size to price ratio. The scent makes this product 5 stars and I will buy it again to remember England and spend spring there. maybe next year.

I bought this a few months ago and never had the chance to write a review. Well, I used it for the first time on December 19, 2020. The scent is so good! . I usually take a bubble bath and I've only used a tablespoon on a loofah sponge. This mix is priceless and I think I will be buying more in the future. Maybe it smells a bit like powder but overall the scent is so lovely I just love that it has a warm subtle rose scent. vary for people who like a very strong scent. Extremely feminine and smells more like a nice, subtle (amazing tea) rose petal scent. Love it.

Update: This was causing a very bad rash on sensitive areas, when I stopped using it for a few days it went away! I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to anything in my life! I wish it was more of a "real rose scent", it smells like baby shower gel with a very sweet artificial rose scent, that's ok, but I won't buy it again, I'll try another one. A real rose scent is hard to find!

This shower gel smells so nice and light and a little gel helps if you use a bath pouf. Gentle on the skin, won't make the bath slippery. The only downside is that the bottle is quite small for the price.

Crabtree and Evelyn have been my customers for a pink or floral bath gel for over 30 years but it was discontinued so I had to try other brands. I've tried different brands but when I tried Body Shop British Rose Petal I realized this was the one. It's thick enough not to overflow, smells great and lathers well.

…outstanding. It has the right scent of fresh roses, lathers richly, doesn't dry out my skin and makes my shower a relaxing spa experience. I bought this gel because I was looking for a non-Dove product. It's expensive. However, a little gel is enough and the natural scent makes me happy. I use this with either a stool or a soft sponge. The only criticism is the small bottle. If the gel came in a bottle twice the size it is now I would be over the moon! Body shop, look.

Very happy with this fragrance, the price and the product is thick enough to shave my legs. What an unexpected win-win situation! I never realized I liked the smell of roses until I tried different products. I love Oribe shower gel — but I keep this $60 shower gel for (almost) special occasions — so I tried a scent called "Cashmere Rose” in another line — and the scent was very similar — — and I realized , that Oribe is closer to rose than any other fragrance I can find.
