I understand that a real badger hair brush works better than synthetic counterparts, or that real shaving "fans" scoff at anything that isn't real badger, but I really didn't notice much of a difference . So comfortable and soft to use, doesn't feel like it's made out of animal hair anyway (I personally don't like putting badger hair on the brush use ). The holder, the wooden handle, the high quality synthetic bristles and the overall quality of the product are excellent. After using the brush, one or two quick strokes are enough to remove all the water, it dries very quickly. I highly recommend this product for men who love performance and style at the same time.

I was looking for a brush as a gift for my husband (along with an old razor and shaving soap) and after reading the cruelties I contacted badger hair brushes and decided to give it a try. I use this brush with handmade cake soap and it feels so luxurious and it's big enough to cover my whole leg in a lather. It's so soft it reminds me of Too Faced's vegan teddy bear powder brush. I also love that it's made with a real wood handle, feels good in the hand and looks great on my shelf. This is everything I wanted from a shaving brush; mild, effective, attractive and vegan.
