Cables cannot communicate between the device and the charger. At the moment two USB-C devices are locked and cannot be charged or turned on now. something is wrong with the cable. Stay away from them and get a regular cable for each device you need to charge.

This is the best cable I own. I have several. It has 3 exits. One for the iPhone (old lighting, we still use them), one for our new iPad4 (USB-C) and one for our multi-headphones (Micro-USB). All devices work great. Strong and durable cable. I wish they were compatible with CarPlay, but they aren't. And that's okay. I marked it for my wife and we have this cord in 3 different places in our house. Our friends love them and they bought them too.

So I took this on vacation happy I only had to take 1 charger instead of 3 but my macbook was charged for over 12 hours and that wasn't all YET to 50% charged so not sure if it was the cable or what.
