Bona IntenseSeal: Enhanced (Formerly DTS) Review

added a nice shade and coverage to my braided bamboo floor. Follow the instructions closely and there are several videos on YouTube demonstrating the rolling technique. Nothing for the inexperienced.

I used this product to clean some wooden floors I made for my house. I sprayed the product on each board separately prior to installation. It sprays very well, sands easily and dries quickly. love this product

It took a long time to apply this to the floor. I recommend watching some of the videos available. The end result was a really nice floor and it was nice that there was no smell of oil based products. After two months it still looks good.

Great product but more difficult to apply than Bona Seal. This product appears to contain dye so the application speed needs to be near perfect or you will end up with darker areas. It really added more color to the wood, which is what I wanted. If this was my first install I would probably use Bona Seal rather than Intense Seal.

I painted a Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) cabinet with an oil finish (Waterlox) and the dark red color came out darker than I wanted. Bona DTS is a water-based sanding finish that gives wood a richer color than other water-based products, but not as dark as oil. I like the Jatoba color more after DTS, especially for the floors. It's also easier to work with than oil-based products.

Hello, we purchased Bona IntenseSeal and Bona Traffic Naturale matte paint and followed the manufacturer's installation instructions. It's only been on the floor for a month and looks awful. This allowed moisture to seep through in places, making it easy to chip and just didn't look good! As expensive as this product is, we are very disappointed with its looks.
