💧 BONECO - U200 White Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier Review

Lasted almost three years, only used this humidifier in the winter months, then stored. I tried using it this month and found that the base had inexplicably disintegrated around the metal ultrasonic component. This is useless now.

If you use humidifiers regularly, you know how difficult it is to fill them up and keep them clean. This model is equipped with a handle on the tank so that it can be easily transferred back to the device after filling. It also has a simple design so when cleaning there are no hard-to-reach nooks or nooks and crannies where pink dirt and mold can get stuck and contribute to respiratory problems!

I ordered two of these devices and both were completely useless after less than a year of use. I have continued to clean and maintain the unit according to the manufacturer's instructions and both units have the same issue. I bought one of these in late 2013 and have used it occasionally with no problems. I woke up to the smell of burning plastic yesterday morning but couldn't figure out what it was. I plugged in my humidifier to use tonight and started smelling like plastic again. I did some research and found out it was a moisturizer! In addition to the incessant and nauseating gurgling noise throughout the night that made me start the computer at 2am and turn on white noise to turn it off, this one leaked Humidifier also half the tank on the floor, leaving a comfortable puddle to stand in as I got out of bed. I would really like to rate this unit a 3.5. The processing quality is questionable. I have two of these, the first died 18 months after purchase. Luckily there is a 3 year guarantee. The nozzle does not give sufficient direction to the mist, which usually flows upwards from the humidifier, regardless of the purpose. I already had one. I bought the last one from BB&B and it has worked like a champ for a year or more with no issues and we still have it. The amount of mist these things put out is impressive. This raised the humidity of my tanning bed (about 12 x 6-8 feet) to 50-60%. The one in the bedroom (15x15) with 3/4 power can bring the humidity to about 30%. I bought this for our large room which is about 15 x 40 and it seems to float between 25% and 29% so it works best in small to medium sized rooms…

I live in Arizona (incredibly dry) I need a humidifier that can put out a good amount of mist. This moisturizer definitely achieves that! It's also top loading so it's a lot easier to fill up. It's definitely easy to use (just one control). I haven't tried the aroma bowl, so I can't comment on this feature. The disadvantage is that the machine is relatively difficult to clean.
