Boraam Sonoma Wire-Brush Bench, Storm Gray Review

We purchased this hoping it would look right in a space we have and it didn't. The product is fine but the height and length weren't right for our space. 3 days after receiving the item I attempted to return it but the seller makes that financially infeasible. Fast delivery, well packaged, exactly as described. Assembly was easy; 20 minutes or less. The bench is sturdy and matched the description on ebay. It does have a chemical smell (I think it's off-gassing paint fumes) and the finish has some minor blemishes. Neither are issues for me - I've put the bench in the garage until the chemical odor dissipates and the minor blemishes add character. For the money, I think it is a good purchase and recommend.

I like this bench. It gets a solid 4 stars, and I only deducted one star because it came scratched at the top. It doesn’t bother me enough to return it - I did not buy this as a heritage piece - but it would seem to me that it’s probably going to scratch pretty easily. I purchased this bench for use in my entryway. It went together easily enough and even though the material is cheap in person, it overall has a look that I like so I decided to keep it. It sat in the corner for a while with some books on it. One day a few weeks later, my mom was over and put her foot on the bottom rung to tie her shoe. It cracked in half like it was a piece of straw. I had to email the seller twice to receive a response and when I did, they told me it's not eligible for return.

This bench was the exact size I was looking for in my new kitchen - but it arrived more brown than I needed, so before assembling it, I lightly sanded all the pieces and added 1 coat of "Classic Grey” stain. It took me an hour. The color came out an exact match to my Smoke Grey cabinetry and I love it! Super sturdy wood, high quality. I rated it 4-Stars as the color looked different than I expected.

This bench feels solid and is very sturdy once assembled. Assembly was easy. You just need to attach the legs and support beams with the screws and allen wrench that comes with the bench. I'm using this as a bathroom bench so I wish it was three inches shorter, because it feels a tab bit more like a stool than a bench. Time will tell how much use it gets. It's still lovely, and I can imagine a lot of other ways to use it if it doesn't work out in the bathroom.

Update: Hasn’t even been one whole month and the peg has broken completely. This bench has not been abused at all my six-year-old got down and she is pretty small for her age. And it snapped completely. This is not durable enough to use for dining I don’t even know if it’s durable enough to use to put your shoes on. Not kid friendly.And it kind of sucks because for me this was not a cheap purchase.absolutely love it. Very good quality. And farmhouse approved! Buy it!

This is a great farmhouse, rustic style bench. It is a bit tall for a regular bench but I knew that when I purchased it.I love how sturdy the product is and easy to put together within 10 minutes.

I was very impressed with the quality of this bench. It was heavier than I had expected and much sturdier. I had it put together and in my bathroom within 20 minutes.

It’s a very nice looking bench. Looks just like the photo. Nice real wood and easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the height of the bench is somewhere between a bench and stool. It still works for my space but a little odd.

This bench came with simple parts needing to be installed. It was easy and the size and sturdiness are excellent - perfect for the small entry of our Lanai!

It was great for 6 ft people but not for 5 ft. It tipped over when I went to sit on it. Luckily I was in font of my sewing desk and I didn’t fall

Very nice quality for the price. Easy to assemble and it’s the perfect mid-tone brown. Doesn’t pull warm or cool. Exactly what I wanted.

We are using this in our Master bath. It is the exact height of our tub so I can move it next to the soaker tub and use it for towels, a glass of wine, a candle or shampoo. Super useful and cute. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and well made. Very impressed and happy with my color choice.

This is a really nice looking and sturdy bench. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it’s about 3 inches too tall. I ended up sawing off enough to make it comfortable to sit on. Still very pleased with my purchase!

This is a great bench. Looks great and very sturdy. Comes in just 5 pieces and too only about 10 minutes to unwrap and put together. I purchased this bench for a narrow space and it fits perfectly.

Perfect for my small kitchen island. I assembled by myself in less that 20 minutes. It’s good quality. Very sturdy and love the rustic look. Very pleased with it.

Easy to build. Fits perfect at the end of our island. Kids can climb up and 2 can sit together. Adult can share with a child. Too tight for 2 adults. No issues with weight.
