Looks beautiful in my kitchen! Ideal for making water kefir! If you have trouble opening bottles and cans like I did, simply take a plastic spoon and slide the spoon's handle under the wire to open the bottle.

Ordered 2 of this item in dark blue. How disappointed I was when they arrived as they were NOT navy blue but turquoise blue. I am planning a return as I cannot use this color. I saw another review about a different color and the buyer also complained that the color is not as advertised. I don't know who is responsible for the lettering, but either they are color blind or they don't know the color wheel.

Bormioli Rocco Oxford bottles are made in Italy. Built-in locking mechanism is convenient for daily personal use. The blue color and all other colors available are simply sprayed onto a clear glass bottle. Once the coating starts to peel off from surface contact with rough objects/abrasion in thin spots, the bottles start to look very cheap. The colorless version is highly recommended and a better buy.

I was very happy with this bottle. First, the color is very consistent with the picture. It vibrates so red! I like it in my red kitchen. The glass is thick and strong, it holds the water so nicely. Mine had a quarter inch chip near the neck of the bottle but it doesn't interfere with the cork. So I'm not complaining and I'm not going back. The only minor complaint I have is that the cork is too tight. I can hardly open or close it. Maybe it will resolve over time? I'm not sure. But I also…
