🚗 Bosch Automotive HEPA Cabin Air Filter for Nissan Frontier (2005-2019), Pathfinder (2005-2012), Xterra (2005-2015), & Suzuki Equator (2009-2012) Review

It was very tight when installed on my 2012 Xterra. It felt too big so it was difficult to fit a second filter, but overall it seems to be of good quality and fits a little better than the factory filters.

Seems to work well. The cost of HEPA is slightly more pressure drop across the filter. In my car I use a higher fan speed than before. A good compromise for allergy sufferers. Highly recommended!

Installed the filter by yourself, took about 10 minutes. And immediately I felt a significant improvement in the quality of air in the cabin, there is no smell of foreign exhaust gases, no engine, no unpleasant odors. HEPA plays a big role. Would order again!

2006 Nissan Pathfinder, great setup. First Filter I always use the head of a long screwdriver and a 1/2" long 12" socket extension to install the filter in place. Like other Japanese automakers, Nissan needs to redesign the cabin air filter boxes. Nissan makes it very difficult for the average car owner to replace the cabin air filter.

A well-made high-end filter, but not well thought out. The filter is so dense that the airflow slows down, resulting in a significant increase in wind noise from the dashboard, as well as the formation of condensation in the air conditioning system due to the obstructed airflow, which in turn seeps into the glove box and storage compartment. This was not the case with standard cabin filters.

I change the cabin filter with every oil change. I order these and the next set is waiting in the trunk. They're tight, keep the air conditioning flow clean, and are sturdy enough to slide into place without breaking (if you change yours, you know what I'm talking about). I will order them for many years to come.

2007 Nissan Frontier - Always bought a Nissan OEM cabin air filter but this time gave Bosch a try due to my respect and love for my Bosch tools. The two Bosch filters appear to be slightly larger than the OEM filters, so they had to be modified a bit to fit in the housing behind the glove box. I assume a tight fit guarantees a leak-free installation. Otherwise the airflow seems to be good and not a problem. Would recommend.

I live in Arizona and have to deal with dust storms. I change the cabin filter every year after the dust storm season. I saw the HEPA filter and decided to give it a try. I pulled out the old regular filters filled with dust and put in the Bosch HEPA filters. Massive throttle for airflow. With these new filters I got less air than with the old filters clogged with dust. The high fan speed was no more than half speed. Took them out and sent them back. Decent fit but rough sides of the product make installation difficult as it jams during installation. To get around this I ripped a clean paint stirrer down to the thickness of the filter and placed it to the side of the installed filter and was able to put a second filter in without it breaking or seizing. Without it, the filters will crumple, leaving a huge gap in the middle for particles to enter, defeating HEPA filtration. This restricts the airflow coming out of the vents, but you get…
