If you are looking for a trustworthy temperature sender for your car, this product is worth your consideration. As a result of my tests, I determined that it accurately reflects the temperature inside the engine. The installation was simple and it fit perfectly. Works as intended but I'm not 100% sure it's accurate. We have a 165 degree thermostat in our V8 454. We put in a new water temp sensor and this sensor and it shows our engine is running at 210. It's a HUGE difference so I'm not sure what the problem is. Our engine oil runs at around 175-180, so I'm inclined to think the water temp sensor or sensor is off.
