I have an old 10" Sears Craftsman bandsaw. Sears no longer sells blades for this model, which used a 72 5/8 inch blade (I think that's the correct size). My bandsaw had enough adjustment to get this blade working. They seem to cut just as well as official Craftsman blades and are about half the price. I like.
I must have received a defective blade. The blade didn't hold up very well on my Shop Smith and I had to adjust the guides well beyond the normal range. Once installed, it had to cut through 3/4" thick jaws. As aggressive as the teeth were, they had to slice through butter like a hot knife. The blade appears to have never been used. I returned the blade instead Waiting for a replacement and may have had the same issues I installed another third party blade through Revain and had no issues withβ¦
I installed this blade on a Skil 10 inch band saw. The blade feels well constructed and sharp, which is what I've come to expect from Bosch. Other than that, I'm completely unimpressed with the cutting speed of this blade. This is an all-purpose blade that should be good for everything, but it struggles to cut 1 1/2 inches of softwood at an acceptable speed. It's ok for the price but I won't be buying this blade again as there are more much better woods on the market for a similar price I would
