Good quality sensor

Installed on a 1981 Datsun diesel pickup. Looks good and works well. I don't like the plastic tubing that comes with the kit because it kinks easily, but this can be remedied by purchasing a copper tubing kit. If you want a high quality and inexpensive boost sensor, this is a good choice.

Bosch gets a bad call

Bought for my 04 Audi 2.7T winter drive. These Bosch sensors were #1: cheap and #2 on point with reading displayed. Not a full scan so be aware they can be a little hard to read but there are many high end brands that don't have a full scan either.

Best value boost gauge

Very easy to install. As in previous reviews, the supplied vacuum line is very narrow and can kink. Instead of running to the hardware store, I attached one end of the wire to a shelf and put a small weight on the other end. Gravity helped unfold this and made installation much easier. Very accurate sensor for the money!

Find another sensor that won't waste your money and time.

The plastic tube is almost impossible to thread through the car and is too short to go anywhere but straight. The sensor stopped working after half a mile after spending 2 hours installing it and I've been a mechanic for over 15 years. It's good to see that the Chinese have destroyed another amazing company.

Boost Vacuum Gauge - Electrical

Used as a coolant pressure gauge on my 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport (TJ). Since I can't find a dedicated engine coolant gauge, I decided to give it a try. Using this gauge, I was able to determine that my airtight cap was not holding the correct coolant pressure (0psi all the time). He also noticed a vacuum in the cooling system when the engine was cold (12 inch HG). The failed cap should allow coolant from the expansion tank to flow back into the radiator. It was a very useful sensor. good…
