Bottle Narrow Opening Adapter Leak Proof Review

Bought to replace the cover I originally had with a black ring on a white washer. Based on other reviews I wasn't the only one. I sterilized it but still decided to replace it with a new cap. Works great as a cap, closes tightly, easy to open. Nice big loop for hanging your finger. To be honest I kept the old bottle capped for days. I will be actively keeping it open more often to try and prevent this black ring from forming.

Rescuing a useless water bottle completes with a new screw on the SIGG cap. Thanks to an enthusiastic schnauzer and a forgetful owner, we're on cap #3. This time I did some research and bought an extra one in case of an accident. I love my Sigg water bottles but these plastic caps tend to get mold around the white plastic rim which no amount of bleach seems to prevent. Basically, you should schedule a replacement once or twice a year, depending on usage. If I removed the covers more often to let them dry, this might not happen, but not worth the hassle. You can also put the new covers in the washing machine before use, as they initially have a plastic smell (but this will disappear).

This handy replacement saved me from using my first Sigg as a vase when I lost the lid. Then I found a Hello Kitty Sigg without a hat for two dollars at a thrift store.
