Don't trust the screws on the caps! Black caps work great no leaks but all colors are bad especially magenta. I would recommend storing them in a plastic bag before unscrewing the caps. I use new ink all day. All test prints have looked good so far. I will update my review after a few weeks of using the mascara. I used HP 63 XL ink cartridges.

A relatively new refilled black H/P 65 DeskJet cartridge. The cartridge was still printing before being refilled, but was beginning to fade a bit, indicating it was low on ink. I printed a test page after refilling and everything was fine. The cartridge functioned normally for a few pages. A few days later the cartridge was clogged. The ink is perfect. Everything needed was included in the kit. The printer clip fits 63 size cartridges. Very satisfied and I saved a lot of money on ink. The ink prints well. The black is a bit duller than the original, but it's ok for the price.

Smart to do it. I can't believe I've endured the outrageous cost of manufacturer ink for so long. This kit makes it easy. I wouldn't try it without the items provided which work well. There are tutorial videos on YouTube and at least one with a similar system.

The ink and syringes are fine, but the adapter that allows you to refill the cartridge so that the ink flows out (by sucking the ink from the bottom of the cartridge ), will not fit my cartridge, even though my cartridge (61, 62) is listed as compatible.

I only filled the black HP 64XL so I can't see the colours. I had to search the internet for instructions on how to refill my particular cartridge. After I refilled the cartridge, the lines disappeared when I printed again. I realized I had used the wrong piece of rubber (large for black, small for color) to siphon ink from the bottom of the cartridge after filling. After this step and a few test pages, it prints like new.

Works great when used as directed. Costco sold 2 packs (color and black) of HP 63 cartridges for about $80 from the factory. I've saved $60 so far and hundreds more in the future. Make sure you try to refill before you run out of ink to keep the nozzles from drying out. Additionally, if the black cartridge is new and you have a digital scale, I recommend weighing and recording the weight. This makes it easier for you to fill it out. However, the color can be a little tricky.

No Instructions! I didn't even bother with all the things that were included. I should have just bought a new cartridge instead of wasting money on a product I can't use because I don't have the instructions.
