Bower Selfie Stick Not Working

I purchased this item from Walmart in hopes that it would work. To my surprise, it's Bluetooth for my Moto G Stylus 2021. The remote snapshot functions don't work properly. I can't get him to take pictures.

Very dissatisfied with accessories

This product is scrap. The camera will not stand upright and will slide down when the pole is used as a tripod. I tried to return the product but found that I have to pay for the return postage. Why is this information not listed in the product description?

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • High price

Easy navigation but poor design

Very easy to understand how to use BUT very poor design. The phone holder will knock off when you try to tighten the screws. This means your phone will fall out because it is not protected. Even on the iPhone 11, the tripod doesn't hold up well because it's too heavy. Don't waste time.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Some markings could be used on the camera remote

The tripod is ok but the camera remote is more difficult to use than it should be. The instructions say charge, switch on, pair. No details or troubleshooting. However, we got it right. We've marked on the remote control which way is on and off because it's just blank and it can be tricky when your kid is in a hurry.

Nice little tripod

I bought this tripod to hold my phone while trying to do some repairs at home. For this purpose it works great! Stands upright, easily adjustable and fairly light. It doesn't stretch too high so sometimes I have to prop it up with something to get a decent angle. If you try to tip it up, it will become unbalanced, so it will sometimes tip over if you're not in the right position. I probably should have bought a real tripod instead of a selfie stick, but so far it works and is cheap.

I bought this in hopes that I could use it effectively for my online classes and it served its purpose but not the best. I've found that when the tripod is fully extended, its base isn't wide enough to prevent it from being too heavy at the top, and it falls if I don't attach it from the top, e.g. B. by leaning it against a piano. After a few uses, the screw holding the stand together broke off to tilt the phone. So no matter how I tighten this screw, my phone will lose its position. This is a…

Poor design - photo and video accessories

I don't have much experience with phone tripods, but on first impression (I haven't used it much) this product seems quite fragile and very hackable. The stick wobbles when fully extended. The legs of the tripod have no additional support (other than hinges, nothing holds the legs together). The tripod head has to be screwed on incredibly tight to hold the device in place. I believe this over-tightening is not good for the long-term health of the product. It will probably come to the point that

Cheap. Won't last. Drains the phone battery quickly.

I really needed something to use for outdoor photography. It's surprisingly hard to find a quality item for this purpose that includes a bluetooth remote etc. I would pay 2x, 3x or maybe even 4x more for something more durable. Bottom line, as others have pointed out, building on this is cheap cheap cheap! It feels like the legs will fall off as soon as they are opened. They are connected by a small plastic loop. This won't take long. That hinge aside, the part that expands to hold the camera…
