Soak in salt water and then wash with soap

Is the only way to get rid of the plastic flavor. The opening makes it easy to clean but hard to dry. No leaks and fit great in my High Sierra Hydro Pack.

Pros
  • Easy to use and refill, even for novice outdoor enthusiasts.
Cons
  • The valve may be difficult to replace if it becomes damaged or broken

A must have - my new review

It was better than I expected it was for my 2 year old sons water backpack while we go for walks and recently to the safari park comes in handy I love it

Pros
  • The materials are flexible, allowing for easy handling and storage.
Cons
  • The bladder may not be able to hold enough water for longer hikes or outdoor trips

Lasted 5 months :( - my new review

It was good while it lasted. I like the fold over design as it’s easier to clean and empty. I wish there was some mechanism to hold the bladder when filling. It ended up developing a leak at the bottom of the plastic attachment piece. (Similar to other person’s review video) I placed it inside a grocery bag and put in a climbing backpack- I ended up soaking my back. It’s unusable now. Not sure if I can fix it myself.

Pros
  • Durable materials ensure that the pack can last for many years with proper care.
Cons
  • The hose may be too narrow for efficient water flow

Works great for my opinion

Got this for my osprey 26 liter day pack. Fits great In the pack. Construction is solid. No leaks. Tubing doesn’t link. Mouthpiece doesn’t leak.

Pros
  • The mouthpiece provides a comfortable and easy-to-use interface for drinking on the go.
Cons
  • The valve may be difficult to operate with one hand

Great bladder for a budget

I have used this bladder extensively over the summer and have taken it on about 10-12 day hikes and it has never leaked so I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced bladder.

Pros
  • Easy to use and clean.
Cons
  • The bladder may not be durable enough for frequent use

Works well. A little tough to clean

A good product for the price. Doesn't leak, valve is sturdy and doesn't drip. The only negative is that the bite valve doesn't come off to help you clean and dry the tubing. I wash my set up after each use and put it on a boot dryer so mold doesn't develop. Bag dries great but since I can't remove the bite valve, there is still visible moisture in the tubing even after 24 hrs on the boot dryer.

Pros
  • The pack is versatile and can be used by both recreational and professional athletes
Cons
  • The valve may be difficult to operate if it becomes stiff or clogged with debris over time

Leaks Horribly for my opinion

Wanted to like it, got two or three good uses out of it, and it leaks horribly, especially if you lay it flat. It soaked all of my gear, so I won't be using it again. Too late to return it of course. Also not the easiest to clean, but its nice that it came with cleaning tools.

Pros
  • It's the best!
Cons
  • The bladder may puncture easily

Good enough! - my new review

These do the job! I can’t imagine a name brand one that’s double the price doing any better. Easy to fill, easy to use, comfortable, and the bite valve works well. No weird flavor; I did the recommended salt water soak before use. They do take a while to dry out but if you have somewhere to store them where they can get dry it’s not an issue.

Pros
  • The pack is easy to fill with water, even in difficult outdoor conditions.
Cons
  • The valve may be prone to becoming loose or disconnected, causing water to leak out
