Description of Brady Adhesion Cloth Label M21 500 499

Made from Brady's B 499 Nylon Cloth material, which has a protective poly amide coating and permanent acrylic adhesive that keeps tape adhered to surfaces, even in autoclave, freezer, and liquid nitrogen environments. Nylon cloth tape with multiple use cases including cable and wire labeling, general purpose marking of laboratory items, equipment panels, and face plates. Low profile tape adheres well to surfaces that are smooth, rough, highly textured, or powder coated, as well as to irregular surfaces or surfaces with low surface energy. Permanent acrylic adhesive and a poly amide coating, and prints in black text on a white background with a matte finish. High adhesion makes all purpose wire marking ideal for environments where heat, cold, oil and dirt are present Not intended for outdoor use. Always use official BRADY labels designed for use with BMP21-PLUS, BMP21-LAB, IDPAL and LABPAL Label Printers.

Works great but has one problem

I' This tape is one size 3/ I've had the 4" for over a year (I don't use it very much). The ribbon itself is great for my purposes. Tape printing. It assumes that the film will be wound onto a roll during the printing process. This band has snapped on several of my band sizes (3/8", 1/2" and this 3/4"). Then I have to make sure the black tape comes out with the white tape and then remove it. If it doesn't come out, it gets stuck in the tape exit area.

Good system, bit pricey

I like the quality of the product and having my own label printer, great .I removed one star because, my god, labels are expensive. It also seems that if you make a decent amount of labels, you'll fly right through the new cartridge. I haven't done a serious cost comparison, but it looks like we're going through a lot of it without actually using it much. I've also noticed that every time I change the size as the first label, I have to create a short label. out always prints the first letter…
