I have never been so disappointed in a famous product. When Braun started they had an amazing product. That influenced my purchase decision. When it arrived I opened the box and found everything was fine. Then I read the instructions for first use. Charge the shaver for the required time. The first time I used it, it barely trimmed my beard. My beard is neither too thick nor too thin. The only sure thing is a clean shave every time. Smells good but doesn't cut at all. The scrap is running out everywhere. Although the detachable head looks/acts reversible, it seems to leave less of a mess compared to the other. It doesn't give you a close shave, but your face doesn't feel like it's been buffed with 80-grit sandpaper, which is fine too. So far the battery life seems excellent. I had an entry level Braun foil shaver that lasted over 5 years and the battery was starting to run out. Approached this model and couldn't get enough. I didn't want to mess around or mess with cleaning solution and all that other nonsense. Please, thank you Braun for continuing to make GREAT products!

I've switched from a Panasonic Arc3 and recently an old rotary shaver that just wouldn't cut (pun intended). I shave dry every day and mainly deal with stubble. Terrible product. Barely shaved (I mostly use the stubble function) Have gone over my face about 10 times, it doesn't shave the same, my 2 year old one blade razor is much better and much cheaper. I'm very disappointed as brown is usually great. Don't waste your money if I didn't throw the box away thinking it was a good brand and it worked I would return it.
