I have several devices with "stacked" connectors on the back. These sockets are too large to be used when the device has a range of COM. As you can see from the picture, there is no shell around them if you intended to make them pretty.

Absolutely great for projects. This is much more convenient than trying to solder thin wires to tiny pins very close together. Ideal for prototyping or final product. The silver panel can be removed and easily installed through the panel with the included stands for a cleaner black aesthetic.

I found it very easy to connect a jumper wire to the various pins I need. And if I flip these two backplanes and push them together from the bottom (where the foam is) where the connectors are pointing in opposite directions, then it's much easier to make direct pin connections (page 1 to pin 1, etc.) d.).
