This is great line, strong and a good length, but for some crazy unknown reason the line is not attached to the spool! We completely lost the kite because we completely let go of the rope! Ha ha dear It was a perfectly windy day and our kite flew a few miles away before we couldn't follow it anymore (it was a great kite :sniff:). Otherwise this string is awesome, just be careful with the spool end!

Surprisingly good string for the price. Light and strong. We tested it in fairly strong winds with a big kite and had no problems. There is a warning that the line is not attached to the spool and this can be a problem the first time you unwind all the line. I suggest when the rope is almost fully taut during the first kite flight, unwinding the rest to the ground to get to the end to tie it.

The first 400 feet looked solid BUT THE FINAL 100 FEET WERE BROKEN IN SEVERAL PLACES AND KNOTS. How can they make a kite line, call it a 50 pound line that doesn't break on a small kite until my second flight. Very bad cable, bad quality. NOT A HAPPY FLIGHT FOR ME, ESPECIALLY WATCHING MY BABY CRYING AFTER Daddy lost a kite, THAT WAS NOT COOL.

My 3 year old grandson almost 4 years old passed this spool and is easily taught to spin and unwind with his little hands gripping both sides of the spool firmly. Unlike the little pen that came with the dragons. Besides, the rope is strong to let our kite fly on the "red" and "yellow" day at the sea beach! I didn't want them to be disappointed that the kite got lost and flew away. It will be a memory for life! Even for a five year old.

I had a blast flying kites on the beach with this extra long pulley. I had two (had two dragons) and both worked very well. It's easy to release more thread and let the wind blow it everywhere. There was such a strong wind on the beach that I let loose every 500 feet! It was really cool - it was way out there. It takes a while to get it back but it was doable and the next day same thing. The cord never got tangled and was strong enough even in the strong winds we had on the beach.

This line is strong, strong and very long! I took it to the beach and flew a pretty big kite with it on a very windy day and I was so impressed! I bought two of these to replace the cheap kite grips that came with my kites. I'm so glad I did! Reels are much easier to use than handles. You have more control over the kite and don't have to worry about one hand getting tired and they fold easily with one hand when launching the kite.
