Description of ๐ŸŒ๏ธ Bridgestone 2020 Tour B X Golf Balls 1 Dozen White: Enhanced Performance and Distance

New Reactiv Urethane cover which stretches the boundaries of what is possible with a traditional urethane ball. The revolutionary Reactiv Urethane cover allows the ball to react to the unique needs of each club and shot. Added distance and forgiveness comes from the Gradational Compression core. Extra distance and enhanced aerodynamics are a result of the new Dual Dimple technology. The added distance comes from a more efficient ball trajectory thanks to less drag when the ball is in flight. Consistent flight and performance are a result of the proprietary Seamless Cover Technology.Bryson DeChambeau, Matt Kuchar, Lexi Thompson play this model.

Amazing golf balls on golf

Amazing golf balls with insane durability (almost no wear after 18 holes). I switched to them from the Tour B XS to reduce spin, add some distance and improve ball flight. Very similar to the Pro V1x but with a little more height and a little less rotation.

Good performance, terrible durability.

While these balls work well, their durability is terrible. I went through a series of balls in less than 15 holes. All 3 balls had frayed or peeled coatings within a few use holes. Mind you, nothing was hit that could cause serious damage. The only thing that hit the ball was my racquets. I do not recommend these balls and will not buy them again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Urethane Coating Cuts Within First 5 Shots

I don't know what happened, but the urethane coating on this ball cuts in one fell swoop. I gave up on the first 5 shots of 7 of these balls they cut, after the 9th I went to the store and bought a dozen Pro V1s. Don't buy those golf balls, I wouldn't play them again if they were free and they cost me $45 a dozen. As you can see from the photos the ball is brand new, hit it ONCE. Very disappointing Bridgestone, wow.

Big ball. Poor durability.

The first three holes felt like I had found my future ball. My usual golf balls that I play are the award winning AVX or ProV1x. I liked the Bridgestone feel. They were far off target, felt soft on impact, and gave plenty of spin on tight shots. After 2 holes I noticed a huge abrasion on the lid of my wedges. After 4 holes it was impossible to play. It's a great ball for people who don't have to pay for it, but at $40-$45 it's not worth it. ProV1x would do me a full lap.

Fantastic performance but terrible durability

I was addicted to this ball because of its performance. Long, straight, low spin off the tee, higher spin off the clubs, soft feel on chip and putt. The all round performance is the best Bridgestone I've ever played on and this ball is a big leap in performance over the last generation Tour X-Ball. BUT - the coating scratches and leaves marks from perfectly hit irons, like in the days of square grooves. In tournament play, I play three or four balls per round. For everyday play, I just playโ€ฆ
