Description of Brightwell Aquatics Xport BIO Block Biological

Designed to be used in marine and freshwater aquariums with a pH of 7. 5 or higher. Highest porosity and largest useable surface area, per unit weight or volume, of all filtration media available anywhere. Provides huge amounts of aerobic and anaerobic surface area for efficient bacterial colonization; one 2” block has about 10, 000 square feet of useable surface area. Reduces toxic ammonia and nitrites to near zero in ponds and all aquariums, marine or fresh; also reduces phosphate significantly and dissolved organics. Doped with Aragonite to buffer pH at the bacteria level, preventing acid buildup; Works excellently as the only filtration medium or may be used in addition to other filtration media.

Amazing solution for a healthy aquarium!

Using this BIO Block has made a huge difference in our aquarium's success .Our aquatic ecosystem is thriving thanks to this product. The blocks are easy to use and fit well in the filter. The biological filtration is top-notch, making it a must-have for any aquarium setup. The only con is that it can be a bit expensive compared to other pet supplies but it's well worth it..

Disappointing Aquatic Bio Block

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, this Bio Block is a total letdown .Despite the promises on the package, it barely makes a difference in my aquarium and actually worsens the water quality. i purchased it in the Pet Supplies section and wasted my money. The concept is good, but the execution is poor, leading to a negative impact on the environment. The only pro is the size, which fits well in my filter, but that's not enough to save this product..

My melt: Filter accessories

It melts. It is located at the back of my multifunction machine in an area with no turbulent flow. The brick lay in my aquarium for 6-9 months and 50% melted and turned into fine sand at the bottom. During that time, they didn't even touch him. It's ok, it should have happened based on the reviews, but it's an ordeal.
