Tire brush has soft bristles but cleans great. I like the short handle. I think that makes the job a lot easier. It's easy to clean and I've used it for about 40 tires and haven't noticed any wear. As for the wheels, you can use a big brush to clean the surface (it's similar to brushing the horizontal area of the teeth with a toothbrush. Edges I haven't actually used the small one, the bristles are a bit hard (not stiff , but can easily shake off water when bouncing) .

I like this brush compared to the super stiff bristles. I felt it helped to clean everything up better and the detail brush is great for small areas like the jam nut and crevices. I like how the brush lies in the hand, not tired. I'm a petite woman so I have small hands but it's a nice thick strong grip. I like cleaning tires again. I love a clean car so I always wash mine often which makes it easy.

The handle is too small. Finish by wrapping the palm around the main body. It also doesn't clean small holes in the wheel very well. I need to come back with a smaller detailed brush. If you are looking for something to clean the front "face" of the wheel this will work, but any holes in the wheel will likely be difficult to clean unless the holes are large enough. I would return it if I didn't use it, so I'll clean the wheel with this brush as best I can.

I was specifically looking for a soft bristled brush to clean the plastic containers and tubs I use to store food and medicine. Kitchen brushes are too small and hard. I've found that soft tire brushes clean corners, creases, etc better than anything else. This brush does a great job too.
