Brita Pitcher Replacement Filters White Review

I received 8 old filters, not the ones in the photo. Full of wallet because it was too late to return it. The filters were dirty and continued to flush out black particles even after 20 jugs of water were poured through them. Very disappointed with this false advertisement.

The price was good and it's a relief to know that we won't have to worry about purified water for at least another 12-15 months. I chose slower shipping to get a digital voucher so can't comment too much on shipping speed but it arrived on time as promised so no complaints.

This is false advertising. The picture shows the latest filter style. In fact, you get old models. Luckily the materials don't deteriorate, they fit the same type of pitcher and I think old filters do the same job as new ones, but there are problems with sealing/fitting and carbon leakage with old filters.

They work well. Unless your city water is contaminated with chlorine and you don't drink a lot of water from a jug, you can probably get by with replacing the cartridges at intervals longer than once a month. Note: Even though the instructions don't specify it with this "Advanced" model, I still soak the new cartridge in the bottom of the pitcher for a few minutes before the first refill and then throw away the first pitcher full of water because of random charcoal particles is a bit greyish.
