Accurate and Easy-to-use Refractometer

This Industrial and Scientific substance analysis instrumentation is a must-have for anyone in the food industry .When I tried this product, I was impressed with how accurate and easy-to-use it was. The Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) eliminates the need for calibration, making it convenient for daily use. The only downside is the price, but the quality justifies the cost. Overall a great investment for any food manufacturer or anyone who needs to measure sugar or other solids in…

Pros
  • Accurate and easy to use for measuring sugar content in liquids.
Cons
  • Requires regular calibration to maintain accuracy.

Not 30% Brix, but 10% full scale - the images are accurate.

Exactly as advertised except 32% Brix - it is actually 10% Brix, full scale - and the grid (scale) looks exactly like the picture. So I'm deducting a star because the written description isn't accurate and if you use it for 30% Brix (like sweet grapes) you'll fall off the charts. For my use case, although that's a good thing, I want to compare the residual sugars in a wine after it's been fermented. I did a quick test and it seems perfect. The optical quality was much better than I expected…

Pros
  • RANGE: Salinity range 0-100 ppt; The Brix value range is between 0 and 10%; 1.000-1.070 g/cm3 Density
Cons
  • Some errors
