Easy to paste, good quality, good color, good price.

I have many printers including laser and inkjet printers. I needed an inexpensive and efficient printer for basic home use. The Brother printer is great. Economical and decent color rendering. The cartridges are cheaper and seem to last as long as the more expensive Canon and HP cartridges. They are easy to connect and easy to use. On your Brother printer, the cartridge compartments can be opened and accessed through a separate flap. You don't have to open or lift the top of the printer just to

Disruptive Printers and Supplies

I don't know when these people decided it made sense to adopt a business model where you'd spend more on ink than you would on a commercial printer, but it just isn't worth the money. To be honest, dot matrix printers were better. I'll find a better way to print if not all digital. You can't even print through a giant piece of paper without one of those stupid cartridges empty and you have to buy more because they have a setting where you can't print anything unless all the cartridges are…

The page count is disappointing.

I like the print quality of this cartridge. What I don't like is the number of pages it is designed for. Presumably it's high volume and it can print up to 400 pages. I get that he probably isn't doing 400 all the time. But right now it's more like 100 pages. And it is expensive to buy a set (colors + black).

  • Regular price

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

This ink and printer are a scam.

Although the print quality is excellent, I keep changing colors. I rarely use real paints and for some reason they always need to be replaced. They seem to be drying up. The printer will not print until the empty ink cartridge is replaced. Even if you don't use that color. I would say I change once a month. That's very expensive. It seems like a complete scam to me that I need to replace a color that I don't even use to print on a background and a white background. I would not recommend this…

Not at all satisfied Brother

BE CAREFUL. This product magically disappears. You don't need to print anything and the ink level drops to ZERO immediately. Then you can come back here and buy more! The problem lies not only in these cartridges, but also in the Brother printer itself. Like some other manufacturers, Brother is involved in fraud. Some of the ink is consumed during self-service and printer cleaning. In fact, you can use ALL the ink and never have to waste time printing. Why waste ink printing when Brother will…

Quality yes, quantity doubtful

No, I didn't count the pages that a single cartridge would print, although that number is relatively low compared to other printers I've owned (all major brands). Gillette marketing model (cheap razor handle: expensive blades), the Brother printer is very inexpensive (thanks bro) and more reliable than most printers I've used in the last 30 years. It also comes with a whole host of digital options: faxing, scanning, automatic two-sided printing, etc. Unless you're printing tons of paper every…

Less than 25 pages printed in two months

Plugged into printer, printed 25 pages in two months and ran out of ink. None of these prints were rich in color. I verified their authenticity and they turned out to be genuine Brother inks. I am very upset with this as I paid over $37 for 25 prints. I'm seriously considering buying a Brother printer! I used to type a lot, but now I don't have to type as much. I've always had HP Office Jet monochrome printers and was very happy with them until I settled on a cheaper HP printer for my last…
