Ink OK, Printer OK. It just doesn't last! Brother is tricky by forcing it to use color inks even if it only prints grayscale most of the time. Like I'm running out of colors I'm not using and then the printer won't print anything. Maybe my review should be against the Brother printer?

If you purchase this product you will not only be impressed with the product itself but also with the packaging that it comes in. And that says a lot about how much they care about their product. Ink doesn't have to be that expensive. Manufacturers lock you up and do their best, so you have to use their ink to get the printer working. The ink is cheap and you don't have to pay 3x for OEM.

Terrible. I bought it in mid-June 2021. We don't print much and have printed less than 10 pages since buying it. The other day I wanted to print something and the printer tells me that 2 color cartridges are empty! What?! To be honest, I'm generally disappointed with Brother and this car. Ink is hard to come by and if you buy from a manufacturer you expect better results.

I have a business version of the Brothers printer. 2 out of 5 ink cartridges failed on my new device. The new cyan didn't work on the first try. Black Cartridge I had trouble getting it to work. After several downloads and uploads it finally worked

Brother makes cheap printers with ink suction. I put in three new cartridges and after cleaning the cartridges were half empty. Threw away a year old printer, returned the cartridges and bought a pistol laser printer

Lasts a long time and every drop of ink is used. Unlike some cartridges which always contain ink after the printer indicates they are empty. The print quality is excellent throughout.

Replaced magenta cartridge and printed 48 color pages (lots of black and white on each page) and ran out of magenta ink. My last magenta cartridge (realize I just bought it yesterday and put it in today) so the printer is useless until I buy a new magenta cartridge - won't even print in black and white unless I have a magenta ink cartridge in the printer .
