I was happy with this product mainly because it was designed to absorb oil from the hair. My hair is pretty greasy so I wanted to try it. The liners actually seem to keep my hair cleaner for longer. However, I have applied it to 3 different brushes and have found that they work best with simple single toothbrushes. On my scalloped bristle and boar bristle combo the liners can't go through the bristle portion so they sit on top of it. It was impossible for my Mason Pearson brush to get the liner

Some people who left reviews seemed to expect that this brush or liner would not require their hair to be shampooed very often. It wasn't the ad I read. I was expecting to be able to use one of the brush heads in the pack (I change them out about once a week when I shampoo as usual) and the result would be a clean brush that would be easier to keep as clean as new. . This insert keeps the comb clean and is easy to clean. It picks up hair and other debris, so if you take the liner off the brush it can be washed - no need to try to remove the hair manually, which is a horrible chore for me. If the liner doesn't fit your comb (because it's too big or the bristles are too thick), you can gently stretch the liner until it fits. Say goodbye to smelly hairbrushes.

It's not that the product is bad but I can't find a suitable brush so now it hurts to use it and I have to stretch it which reduces its effectiveness. Will keep trying. Will update this later if needed

I've only noticed a slight difference in my hair using this product. I don't see any difference at the roots, which is a problem because that's where the oil comes from. It's a far cry from what my dry shampoo does and it's a lot more work. It took me some effort to attach the sheet. Most mornings I don't have time for this effort.

The insert does not fit my comb. I can't get the stubble through the sheets unless I spend a lot of time pushing and pulling and then the sheets come out glued together. When your comb's bristles have small, rounded ends (like those embedded in rubber/plastic) it's almost impossible to push them through the brush heads.

I don't know what the deodorant part is, but it keeps my brush clean and makes it easier to remove any hair that builds up in the brush. It might take a bit of work to get it onto my rubber-tipped flat brush, but it makes up for that with what I said in my first suggestion. I will buy them again when my current stock runs out. EDIT: It's May 2019 now and I'm still using them. My wooden paddle brush is a few years old but still looks brand new.

Totally useless. I have two brushes and no matter how hard I tried to push the bristles through the holes, I couldn't push a single bristle through. I was so looking forward to it and now I'm really disappointed.
