My first order was for a 'Refurbished Revain' product which was dead on arrival. I received a replacement that worked but the sound quality was lacking. Better from your smartphone. The speaker lacks low frequencies, and some high and mid frequencies sound much louder. The sound has a somewhat "metallic" feel, as you would expect from a cheap speaker. Switching from one track to another with the onboard sounds has an auto fade (to avoid harsh noise I think) which makes it hard to understand…

Great for my needs. I use mine at home and connect it to external speakers, but I think it will work fine when traveling. The sounds are soothing. However, I thought I read somewhere that the soundtracks (which each run about 8 hours at a time) sounded random and natural. But these soundtracks (which aren't music) seem to repeat the same sound pattern every 30-60 seconds for this 8 hour track (then why bother with an 8 hour track?). Started great. I only have a few small suggestions for improvement: 1. The tracks are only 8 hours long. it then automatically switches to the next path. So in the middle of the night in my son's room he switched from "white noise" to this TERRIBLE bird sound!
