Lucky!: Outdoor

I only did 1 test run but they seem to have got everything right! I'm picky about my running bottles. It is easy to open and close to drink even with tired or cold, numb hands and while running. It also closes cleanly and tightly (at least for now); important, because a wet pantyhose leg at 20 degrees outside temperature is not much fun. I used this with a 2-2 1/2" wide running belt and it worked great without bouncing even when full. I love the flexibility this gives you to add water to any…

Not bad, but not for all runs

I doubt it. This comes in handy for short runs as I hate carrying around a PDA. The magnets generally hold up well and I haven't had an issue with the bottle leaking like some others. However, when the bottle is full it tends to bounce/pull and this doesn't work with more elastic straps. This works best with wide, flat straps. It's not very comfortable to wear on the front so I carry it on my back and there have been times when I grabbed the whole bottle and it fell off. The small Flipbelt…

Not just for runners!

This is exactly what I was hoping for as a gift for my Crossing Guard wife. She needed a way to access water during her 90-minute shift, but she can't be handy, can't have anything foreign in her uniform and she couldn't keep track of a water bottle when she puts it on the floor. This buddy magnetic pocket allows her to keep enough water discreetly under her shirt even when she doesn't want to. You don't have pockets. The hot Florida afternoon sun isn't a place if you don't have a way to stay…

Getting used to: Accessories

Use for running, of course. At first I hated it. I don't wear my running shorts tight and they hang down my right thigh where I wear them. In the end I just wore it. Then, after drinking from it, it splashes a little - it's mainly noise. I like being in the moment and focusing on form while running. No music. On my next run I tightened the running laces a bit (still comfortable) and got used to the very slight squeezing noise and it's fine now. (Ok, the squeezing still bothers me a bit, but…

An easy way to carry a small amount of water with you

No walking problems if you wear this on the front right hip. This made a big difference for running on hot days. It's not much, but it's enough to keep me going. Some have reported it falling out of my pocket, but mine never budges until I'm ready to take it out for a drink. Others said it was leaking. The bottle and cap are soft and you can twist the threads and if you do it will leak. It is also easy to see that you scroll it across and unscrew it half a turn and try again. It's also not…

I have two of these and love them. I suffer from a muscle condition that makes it incredibly painful to carry something on my shoulders while hiking, so I needed a lightweight solution that could be carried on my waist straps without being so heavy that it was pulling down or uncomfortable on my back becomes . This summer I filled the bottles half an inch below the brim and frozen them standing, then popped a few bottles in the fridge and took them out to thaw as needed. Even on very hot days I

Apply it right and it works like clockwork

I had trouble with it at first. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it even hung up (essentially useless). I then found that although it appeared to me that I was folding the pocket evenly over the shorts, it became apparent that I wasn't, meaning the magnets weren't aligned between the two sides. Once I lined them up correctly it didn't go away and has been great ever since. A few more notes: 1. Spout not large enough for ice cubes. First, I broke the ice cubes in a ziplock bag with a meat…

The perfect solution!

WOMEN: I've experimented a lot with this bag and I can say that putting the flat magnetic side behind a sturdy sports bra and carrying the bottle on the outside works great! I'm running 7 miles in Nevada in 100 degree heat and it's absolutely impossible to wear tights, pants or any other clothing at all. While it may be too heavy for flying shorts, it is PERFECT as shown in my picture! This little bottle has saved me from dry mouth so many times and I can't say enough about it. In my world…

Thoughtful and simple design

As a former long-distance runner, I wore all kinds of running belts and water bags for years. Camelbaks and other bladder bags are very awkward to keep clean and don't strike me as particularly hygienic; Traditional water bottles are bulky and often slosh around in their holders with every step you take. Fuel bands have the right idea - smaller bottles in multiple places on their specially designed band. Buddy Pouch offers the same small bottle as the Fuel Belt at around 7oz, but there's only…
