Description of πŸ’‘ Bulbrite 509206 CF5W LM: Low Mercury Compact Fluorescent Coil - 5W Equivalent to 25W, Medium Base - Warm White, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

SPECIFICATIONS: Included in the box is a single, 5-watt fluorescent bulb. These compact fluorescent bulbs have an opaque coil for a warm, white light. They operate as 25-watt bulbs and have a medium screw base. They are low mercury. Dimensions are β€Ž1.75 x 1.75 x 4 inches. SAFE FOR USE: Bulbrite's Low Mercury Compact Fluorescent light bulbs are a great energy saving light source and now use 50% less mercury than other Compact Fluorescent lights available. Safe for use indoor and outdoor and where a low wattage bulb with a small profile is required. SOFT WHITE LIGHT: With a Kelvin score of 2700 each, these bulbs emit a warm white light. This rating means your lamp or ceiling fixture will emit a perfect amount of light that is not too dim and not too harsh. They're also fully adjustable meaning you can control the ambience of your room. FROSTED FINISH: Unlike clear glass bulbs, frosted bulbs have a much different lighting effect for a unique mood. A clear glass globe emits light directly. A frost finish diffuses the light for a softer lighting effect. Ideal as a decorative alternative where high intensity light is not desired. MULTIPLE USES: T2s are ideal for small compact spaces. Use anywhere where a low wattage bulb is required for warm, white, ambient light. The opaque coil bulb emits diffused lighting without using too much energy or power. Great for your next home improvement projects.

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs

These bulbs are exactly what I wanted. These are the first ones I've found that equal 25 watts. I've been looking for a long time and no one had them until I found these. A bit pricey but if you want low power then this is for you.

  • Certified

The perfect light for late night reading.,

Hard to find a bulb this size but worth it. I read a bed with a clip on the head of the lamp. Since it's so close to me, I don't like bright lights before bed. I just need some light to read. This lamp was perfect!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for warm white ambient light in a small space

This lamp has been running 12 hours a day as a light at the bottom of the stairs for about 6 months. Turns on quickly when the brightness is slightly reduced, but quickly reaches full brightness. This is slightly brighter than a standard 25 watt incandescent bulb. Pleasant warm white light, similar to incandescent bulbs, but with less power consumption.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

3/5.Great pear hasn't started to melt yet. πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜³ Tonight I noticed it flickers and goes out. I didn't think about it until I smelled burnt plastic. There was no light but it looked like a small flame inside or something was flickering and melting the bulb. I'm curious how many other people have experienced this as well and if it's quality control related. We've had this bulb for over two years so I would say it was well worth the money. It wasn't as dark as we expected/wanted.

  • Worthy performance
