We fitted these ourselves under the existing flat footplate my dad had on his truck. He is 87 years old and cannot bend a leg. It worked great. Despite their low weight, they are durable.

I installed them on my high seat Vanagon to help older drivers stand up. I like it because I'm getting older. Had to weld on some spacers and paint as the Vanagon stage was beveled at the bottom but it turned out to be very solid and useful.

Put them on a '95 F350. Easy installation, fits perfectly. I replaced the included bolts with #10 machine screws and heavier carriage bolt washers and lock washers, be sure to use zinc with aluminum or isolate with rubber washers if using stainless steel (aluminum corrosion). The plate that attaches to the top is a great feature that other brands don't have. There are two in the package, not one as advertised. Great offer and quality. Thanks Bulli.

Seems to be a good product (clearance) but the screws are cheaply imported and break off with little torque. They look fantastic and are fairly easy to install with a set of drill bits and sockets. However, they are very uncomfortable as they flex a lot, like the rocker panels of a truck. Bad weight load. To be honest they are more for looks. My biggest concern is how cheap the equipment was to install. I couldn't even get the prop bolts in because the heads snapped off immediately.
