Useful for applique but expensive

I bought this product for an applique workshop. Works well, but each stick doesn't last long. I usually use regular glue sticks, but the smaller size of this product is handy for small areas. This is quite expensive for a product that wears out fairly quickly.

Pros
  • Office supplies
Cons
  • Unsure

did not stick

Will not buy again. The glue dried before I could connect the two pieces of fabric. Eventually I found that if you iron the seam after applying the glue it will hold for a short time. Lots of extra, frustrating steps for sewing needleless quilt pieces. However, the idea of taping the seams first is great, so I'll be looking for a better product.

Pros
  • Adhesives and Adhesives
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Skip stapling, glue faster.

I'm switching from stapling Styrofoam pieces to this glue. It makes things MUCH FASTER, but I had to learn how to remove bits of paper after the fabric was sewn. You need to separate the fabric from the piece of paper somehow. This will damage some parts of the paper template. Watch the Tula Pink video on the Fat Quarter Shop Youtube channel to learn how to use this product.

Pros
  • Glue sticks and sticks
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
