We love our Bunn coffee maker. This is the Velocity model with an insulated pot. But I worry about filling the machine with a pot that's not exactly pristine. Pouring less than pure water into the top for a few years may not be good for him. This jug holds more than enough water for our 12-cup pot, and we can always be sure there's no residue left in the refill.

The pitcher is strong and durable, but it's not compact and flimsy like the pitchers Bunn made a few years ago. I almost sent it back because it's almost impossible to tell the dimensions of the mug from the side of the jug. I have to hold it up to the light to see her. Finally, I marked cups 8 and 12 with a black Majek marker. It takes up more space in your closet or fridge than the slimmer style they used to sell.

This is one of the WORST purchases EVER! Labeled SMALL, SMALL, SMALL and even comes with reading glasses if you are over 40 I would say skip this purchase. The markings are the SAME color as the pitcher. Do I need to repeat again that the mark is SMALL? This MAY be ok for watering ferns.
