🌙 Burt's Bees Night Facial Lotion, Face Cream for Sensitive Skin, Natural Skin Care, 1.8 Ounce (Packaging May Vary) Review

Burt's Bees Night Cream for sensitive skin. I ALWAYS use this product! I liked how thick it was and lay flat against my skin. Now it's so diluted that it even dries out the skin. I'm giving it one star because the bottle it comes in is so cute. Otherwise I will not buy this product again.

I was skeptical when I ordered this in August 2020. But I wanted something without chemicals. And Burt's Bees moisturizer for sensitive skin is 98.9% natural. It's almost as natural as you'll get it. It's not easy for me to give 5 stars, but this product deserves all 5 stars! Anyway, I've been using this 1 bottle since August 2020. I only apply it every other day. The lotion itself isn't bad. Not too heavy, keeps the face hydrated most of the day. My only immediate complaint is the packaging/dispenser. The first time I tried to remove the lid the entire pumping mechanism came loose and the lotion spilled everywhere! I thought I might have twisted or squeezed in the wrong place, but upon closer inspection. It's just not designed properly and crashed many more times after that. Now I don't close the lid and hope the pump keeps working.

I hate to give a bad review because I'm very loyal to their original lip balm and liked their acne system for a while (although it didn't work for me eventually) . However, it made me noticeably sleepy and also made my skin oily. I've been using the Christina Moss moisturizer and was looking for a cheaper alternative, but I'll come back to it (if you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it, it's great). Be careful with this product. It does not work on all types of sensitive skin. After using the product, I developed a very red, irritated rash under my eyes. It may have worked on sensitive skin, but not everyone!

I hate giving a Burt's Bees product a star. I have used their products in the past and loved them. However, when I applied this night cream, my face immediately started burning and itching. My daughter also tried it and had the same negative reaction to this cream. I've never had this reaction to any of their other products and I don't know what caused this reaction in both of us.

Not sure if you can really tell from the pictures but it looks like it has been opened and some got caught in the threads and it is half dry. I'm wondering if this product was new or returned. I would like to try this product so I will exchange it and update my review.
