Just what I wanted - Furniture

Small storage strong enough for a grown man to sit on and put bags/suitcases on. Attractive, perfect for my guest room, just what the room needed to better serve guest needs; a place to sit or a place to rummage through a suitcase. Storage compartments are an added bonus.

Do not put the back on until you are sure the middle panel is in the right direction.

The instructions were a bit sketchy and when we lined up the shelves they weren't straight. After realizing that the middle panel was upside down, we just had to live with baskets and no shelves. The back is cardboard and cannot be removed after inserting 20 small nails to fix it.

Exactly what I was looking for

Very easy to assemble. I first saw it on a target around 150 I think! And the gray ones were perfect! I was looking for a more durable wooden shoe rack and this was perfect. There wasn't much wood! Very durable for the price! The color matched the picture! Not too big for my space. I can put enough shoes on him and he won't look dirty! I plan to spruce it up a bit more, but it already looks great in my space!

The instructions don't help

I've built a lot of Bush furniture, but the instructions for center panel placement are wrong. If the center board is placed as directed, the holes in the shelves will not line up. When assembling, insert the center board and temporarily install the shelf to ensure the shelf is level. If so, install the center board permanently. The rest of the article is ok. I use mine at the foot of a king bed and it's not big enough to be a travel hazard or "universal".
