For a 2001 GMC Sierra

I purchased this tailgate cap to go along with a new set of bed rail caps with the diamond tread pattern for a 2001 GMC Sierra. The fit is absolutely perfect. The truck had a tailgate cap on it from the dealership when it was bought new, but I figured it needed replacing to match the bed rail caps. At first I thought it wasn't going to be able to cover those bolt holes in the tailgate, but it did. Fit well, tape holds well

Just installed these. They fit nicely, easy to align and install. I am not sure how much the little clips and screws are going to do to help, but the 3M tape is holding quite tightly. Be sure to clean the tops of the bed rails before install.Only observation/concern is that there are no seals around the post holes. Water can get between these caps and the bed from there. Hopefully does not become a source of rust on my newly replaced bed.

For looks not protection.

The product looks nice and clean and changed the overall look of my SS. They were slightly too short for my truck bed but not enough that buying the next size up would have fixed the problem. I would recommend installing indoors if possible. I ran into issues trying to install on my own in the sun as the material heated up it began to flex and stick randomly to the side of my bed. Good quality and appearance. Very challenging installation.

The quality and appearance are great. It takes care to get the cap on straight and centered, but it looks sharp if you measure it out, take your time, and do it well. I'm satisfied with this product, and it looks really sharp. You cannot tell by looking it wasn't professionally installed.However, I can't give it five stars. Looks great one problem

I put it on with a slight bend in the middle and it did not adhere to the tailgate right. I bought it there is no way I am taking it off.
