Some of the fuses were blown when I received them.

Some of the fuses were blown when I got them. In my opinion, the question of quality lies more with the seller than with the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Almost but not quite...

I purposely bought and paid for a little more than others because they came in this protective metal case as shown in the photo. Mine were sent in a plastic bag, not in the case listed; This doesn't suit me as I didn't receive exactly what I ordered...

Pros
  • practical item

What I needed for cartridge fuses

This is just what I need to fix a vintage stereo receiver. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the picture shows retail packaging, but what I received was a bulk product in a small package. I would like a Bussman container so the remaining fuses are easier to identify in the future.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Supplied in a plastic bag

The fuses are fine but you need to find a way to 'protect' them as they come in a plastic bag (to be thrown away). The product image clearly shows the metal can, as I remember shipping locks from the old days. But you will NOT receive this as part of your purchase, so be careful. The fuses are fine.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Don't expect a case

Haven't blown any of these fuses so can't comment on their quality but apparently they no longer come in the handy storage case shown in the picture. . I carry them in my bag as spare fuses for my guitar amp and had to find another container to put them in as I'm pretty sure the glass fuses won't last long if I just put them in my bag.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Proven Quality: Fuses

My Bandmaster Reverb blew a fuse when the rectifier lamp died. I replaced the lightbulb and everything else was fine (tip: build a $10 current limiter with a lightbulb and electrical equipment if you're looking for a short!). I bought some unnamed Chinese fuses off eBay but I just didn't trust them so I ordered these. I now have complete confidence that my prized vintage amp is well protected. As others have pointed out, they no longer come in a handy little roll-top case, but you can easily…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

This is a backup. for cartridge fuses

Not sure why they need a product review. This is a backup. It's been made the same way for over half a century and I doubt you can tell the difference between what was made in the 1960's and what's made today, other than they're not the cute ones anymore use small boxes of five fuses, which is sad. They say they don't make them the way they used to be. Well, they're made exactly the same as before, probably on the same machines. This is of course the best brand for this type of fuse and it will

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
