Exploding Valentine's boxes for my grandkids and stuffed butterflies inside! The excited squeals and smiles of joy made love's labor so worthwhile. Butterflies were every kid's favorite part between the ages of 2 and 12❣️

Looks great on videos and is easy to use, but they are flimsy and can break if twisted too many times. There are two different types, one is metal and the other is plastic (easily breaks). Doesn't go very far or as shown in the video. Disappointed...threw them away

More than half of them had one or both wings not properly sealed and fell off before they even tried to coil them up to get them flying. Had to buy 2 different adhesives to attach them. They also work better if you replace the included elastics with extra thin ones (like tiny ones for kids ponytails).

Some items have plastic cores, some have metal cores. The metal ones are flimsy compared to the plastic ones, so while they seem to bounce a little more (because they're lighter), they're less durable and more likely to bend and stop working. Beautiful colors, product works. All round good. One star deducted for the combination of metal and plastic core: I'll probably get more of those.

Are those butterflies circling in space, no. But they flap and fly out of the box or book well enough to make you smile. In addition, they are reusable. I managed to roll about twenty pieces into a very flat gift box for my mom. She made a good start and laughed. Then I hid her all over my house when she wasn't looking; in books, under things, etc., so she had to giggle a lot more. Worth the few dollars spent.

Many broke before they were even unpacked. I expected them to take off but they didn't. When they worked, it fluttered, but only down, not up. We bought them for a college party and many guests couldn't get them to work without throwing them in the air. The paper tore when turned over and the hooks holding the rubber bands broke when twisted. The idea is amazing! I believe with some product tweaks and guidance it could have been a lot better.

I have put these butterflies on greeting cards, graduation and other cards and they have been a huge hit. I highly recommend them. Just make sure you read the instructions for how often to wind them up, as I didn't do it the first time and they didn't work very well. However, the second time I made sure I did it right. It's a lot of fun when you see a person open a card. I had a lot of questions about where I bought them etc. I recommend them.

These are definitely cute things but they don't fly very well. They fly better when curled very tightly, but not very high and far. basically just a short flutter, then they slide to the ground. They seem pretty well made for what they are and will probably be fun for the group of kids they were bought for so I won't be returning them. The aerodynamic design needs some work, but it's a decent little stuffed animal. I don't regret the purchase one bit.
