A near perfect used genuine GM key fob for $19 is much better than a new genuine GM key fob for $134. They both require programming but are $115 less and work great.

Worked fine after a friend who works at a Chevrolet dealer initialized them on my GMC Sierra. Much cheaper than buying from parts stores. I'm glad I looked around before buying.

Perfect OEM Remote. I took it to a local locksmith who was able to program it for $20 in just minutes using a diagnostic tool. Please note that you must bring all remotes (current and new) as adding remotes requires you to first remove any existing remotes from your computer.

This is the best purchase I have ever made. My 2014 Silverado keychain finally fell apart. Rubber caps and buttons crumbled over time, but the inside (a small circuit board) was completely intact. I switched the guts to this replacement bowl and everything worked great. Didn't have to go to the dealer, I just put the guts in a new case and it worked right away.

Took it to the dealer for programming, there was a little price difference between dealers for programming so be sure to evaluate. As a result, I found someone who does the job in half an hour. Charging that amount to program the remote seems like a hassle but either way the remote works and looks great there is absolutely no difference between this and the original.

I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ and have been slowly dechroming the truck. Her key fob was the last remaining chrome. I replaced the internal circuitry of the factory chrome key fob with this replacement and it works perfectly. It has better feel and positive clicks. It could just be because it's new and the other one was a few years old. Overall I'm quite happy, although I thought I'd order a few spares rather than one. It's probably my fault for not paying enough attention to the descriptions.
