My daughter is very sensitive to the texture of her shirts and loves to wear those undershirts with stickers that can be felt or itch through the fabric. We struggled to find shirts that would fit a slim girl like her but without lace (no, no for those sensitive to sensibility) or bows. We love it. They're soft, long enough to be worn under shirts but not too long to protrude, and best of all, they're simple - no bows, no lace, no ruffles. Great quality and fit.

I bought each of my boys a set. I bought a 6 year old 6-7, an 8 year old 7-8 as they always run small. He's put on some weight so is a little stockier and no taller size is necessary for his age. Tried 7-8 on it and it's tight. Worn by a 6 year old, fits perfectly. It has stretch so it might fit an 8 year old but it was quite uncomfortable for him and hasn't even been washed. I don't even want to see how much denser it can get after it's gone through the dryer. So you should increase the size.
