They need better or stronger gluing, like real 3M ones

The screen is thicker than the one I'm replacing. The sticky pad is a joke. The monitor keeps dropping off due to overheating. They need to be glued better or stronger, like a real 3M. In the picture it looks just as good as the one I'm looking to replace. As for durability, time will tell.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Truck and trailer backup cameras merge into one display

This camera has been installed on my truck for over a year now and is working flawlessly. I installed it over a rear view mirror (2009 Dodge Ram 1500) that is attached to the window. I run my truck's backup camera and my trailer's camera on this display with the trailer's camera always on, I just love it.

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • Clarity

do not buy! in reversing cameras in the car

I bought this small TV to extend the battery life. I get it in the mail and I like it very much. Plug it in and it works great. I cut off the end to connect to my camera, the reason the wires are cut (the wire is too long). I don't want a bundle of wires on my Marauder pistol. After setting it works fine for about 2 minutes and then the TV died! Now don't come back! I have 7 LCDs that I am using now and it works great but is a bit big! Don't waste money!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

The monitor itself works.

Nice little monitor for car backup camera. It has green-yellow and red lines to measure the distance to the object. However, the downside is the rotation of the stand. It's loose and can't be tightened, so the gauge keeps going down. The second problem is the double-sided glue stick that the stand uses. It melts and loses its holding power. I'm having trouble finding the right adhesive to attach the monitor stand to the top of the dash without permanently attaching it to the dash. Because you…

I use mine as an external DSLR screen and it works great for this

It's a decent little screen. I use mine as an external DSLR display and it works great for that. The aspect ratio is a bit odd and the picture quality isn't great, but for less than $15 I won't complain. An added bonus (at least for my use) is that I was able to take the sphere out of its socket (for mounting) and put in a 1/4" 20tpi nut (which fits perfectly) and now has a standard tripod. Plus it can be used with Runs on a 9 volt battery, which is convenient.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Zero

GOOD FOR REAR VIEW CAMERA

I bought this monitor and license plate camera for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma pickup. After finding an accessible way for the camera to monitor the cable, I decided to route the cable along the passenger side and through a grommet in the floor under the passenger seat. I decided to connect the camera to the passenger side reversing lamp wire. The easiest method was to use a 22-18 AWG "Tap Splice" connector. The problem is that the power cord from the camera is too small to connect. I decided to…
